Teachers, who are you working for?

As a UK teacher, I am proud and happy to share knowledge to students. Working in a random UK school, I have been put in the position to question some of my colleagues’ understanding of their mission. It was, it is and it will be obvious that teachers work for students, whereas Principals, heads and, generally speaking, managers work for their employees, the teachers. Leaders are not in the centre of an organization; they are and they will always be wherever they are needed.
